A quick thinker and sharp writer, Sarah has spent her 20-plus-year career helping organizations and nonprofits of every size tell the stories that matter. She's built strategy and written for embassies, universities, churches, publications, and think tanks, and she’s a sought-after speaker and facilitator who can simplify complex ideas into actionable insights.

Sarah leads Bright Light’s signature brand strategy engagements, defining the foundation that determines how nonprofits and for-purpose organizations show up throughout their digital presence. Through sharp questioning and deep insight, she gives teams the clarity and confidence to move forward with a brand that is cohesive, intentional, and built to last.

She also helps teams make practical use of AI in their day-to-day work. With a focus on prompting and working effectively with large language models, Sarah equips teams to get better outputs, move faster, and apply AI in ways that are aligned with their strategy, voice, and goals. Sarah facilitates popular AI training seminars that leave teams equipped, engaged, and ready to make the best use of AI. 

Her background spans political science, history, and a Master’s in Theological Studies, which is why careful language matters so much to her.
